SOLIDWORK FLOW SIMULATION 2011 help

Good Morning,
I am a Mechanical Engineering student and very new to this software. I would like to know if its possible to add a rotation flow to a object with its center point outside of the computation domain. Your help will be appreciated.

Hi MT

Just tried it. No, it doesn't work. Throws an error during meshing.

I would say if you could explain what you want to do, it would be much easier to tell if the way you want to use the software makes sense. There are some ways to do that and the answer it doesn't work does not tell which way does not work nor does it indicate if this is even the way to do it for your application.

So please explain what your application is and why is there a rotating flow and why is the center out of the computational domain.

Boris
