Explicitly provide pressure drop

Hello,

Any idea how to explicitly supply pressure drop across a given element. For example in a complicated geometry I provide a simple pipe and I want x pressure drop across only that pipe. How do I do it?

You could try it with a porous medium. You can create one in the engineering database and give it a pressure drop curve. Then you can define a volume in the pipe as porous. Make shure to set the porousity to 1 and unidirectional when using a pipe.

You need to validate that pipe with the porous medium in a secound simulation to make shure the pressure drop is right. Pressure drop from material should be lower then the real pressure drop because of the pressure drop from the geometry
