Hi Amit,
I think there are not so many FloTHERM users in this forum so if it is urgent you might want to contact support for a faster answer. I'm not very familiar with FloTHERM so I wouldn't be of any help.

Sorry,
Boris

Hello, just click the profile icon and it should work. But be careful on the next tips:
1. the project needs to be solved
2. you need to have at least 2 iterations for a graphical profile to be displayed (colored lines)
3. in the profiles window click the "Create New Plot" icon

If all of the above don't work try viewing the results (for monitor points) in the "Tables" window.

Best regards, Gabriel Ciobanu

Hi Amit,

you were lucky :-)
If you are in any need again in future but don't like to explain your problems in the Mentor SupportNet by a lot of text, you can always raise an SR and simply ask them to call you for a question regarding (in this case) Profiles in FloTHERM.

They will then call you and you can explain it easier than writing a long text. The support engineers are just there to do support and every SR will immediately pop-up on their screen in their Support Tool and they will get an email notification. So the initial response time should be pretty quick.

Regards,
Boris

Hi Gabriel,
Thanks for your response. I had already tried those but the issue I am facing is, under the 'Edit>New' in Profiles window I am only able to select the 'Result v distance' option in drop down menu, rest all options are not enabled. The problem persists even after running in many times over.

PS: There are no errors in the message box.

hello, this might sound strange but... are you sure that you have "monitor points" in your model. only monitor points are displayed under profiles. did you had a look at "tables" tab? there you have the same values for the Monitor Points that are used for ploting.

best regards.

Oh, wait, that was the FloTHERM post. Do you mean FloTHERM or FloEFD/SWFS?

For FloTHERM there is only a short getting started guide included if you go to the menu "Help" and there "Help Manuals". Anything more is only available through training by FloTHERM reseller or directly through Mentor Graphics.
I would highly recommend to contact your sales contact from who you bought the software as they can give you a very detailed training which is always better than the manuals or tutorials as simply not everything can be in these documents and questions cannot be answered that detailed through them either.
