Strange grid visualization during simulation...

2 Attachment(s)
Hello Boris,

I have been noticing very strange grid while running my valve case simulations when I insert cut preview in the Solver (See Fig1). It happens not all the time but I see this type of grid once in a while and I'm not sure if this is just a bug or really a problem with my grid setup. However, the solver does not show any warning or error.

Furthermore, this goes away and I can see "not unusual grid" once the grids are refined during the simulation (See Fig2).

I'm assuming this is not associated with the setup or simulation itself. However, I'd like to confirm this here!

Thanks
Nikesh.

Hi Nikesh,

No, I never seen this issue but It looks more like a graphical problem in the preview. You can try to close the preview and create a new one. I noticed that the goals sometimes show no value when a cloned project is running in the solver and the goal plot shows previously used setup (so not a new goal plot). If the goal plot is closed and a new one is created the goals have values. But this also only happens sometimes.

Boris
