FloEFD post processing

Hi all ,

I am doing gas turbine simulation using FloEFD .

During calculation runtime , I need to get Cut plots of temperature in a specific plane .

Moreover i need contours in this specific color range . using preview settings in EFD solver i get only normal RGB contours only. Please help me

in the calculation options you can under save / activate a periodically saving.

the point with the color i don't understand. What kind of color format you want?

best wishes Sascha

Thanks for your reply sascha. I know that i can save using periodical saving. In the solver itself , there is an option "Insert --> preview " whcih i have been using to save the images of temperature. however the colour palette am using is RGB . I require the colour palette as same as the image attached.

Is there any means to auto save the images with this colour palette?

Regards
Bala

oh, i understand - the solver options its self i don't know where to find and change.

- if it is really needed - you can save the results periodically - but you have to load the each result manually and make the picture. An automatic way i don't know. Sorry for that.

No, you cannot change the palette in the preview but Sascha is right, you can save the results but it doesn't have to be periodically. You can also say Save result and it saves the result of the current iteration and then you can evaluate it afterwards or if you have enough memory you can also load it during the calculation if not all processors are busy or simply paus the calculation for the time it takes you to create the plot.

If you need the preview images because you want to have the transient behaviour and would write out the images every few iterations then I'm afraid that it is not possible to have it with this color map. But you still can do the same by writing out the result periodically and animate the plot in that color map afterwards.
