Curvilinear grid

Hello all

Can we generate curvilinear grid in flotherm?
If yes, please breif about the procedure.

Thanks!

hello,

No. Only Rectilinear Grid (both classic and XT fth)

Best of luck. ;)

Thanks for the motivation

Why do you want to have a curvlinear grid?

I have to simulate shell and tube heat exchanger, where everthing is circuilar. So, its best to have curvilinear grid in order to make grid as well as resolving the gradients.

Then FloTHERM is not a good code for heat exchangers anyway. It is more for electronics cooling. You should have a look at FloEFD.
You cannot do a curvilinear mesh in FloEFD either but you don't need that as the mesh is created automatically and the gradients are resolved well.
