Hi,
I'm using FloEFD™ 2020.2, My project has 5 fans and fan model is manually created by defining Fan Curve. I used enough data (12points) for curve. I think its enough. Anyway, here is my question. When I got my results, I clicked "Show Operating Point" on Fan to see fan operating curve. However it gave me a following error: "Can not create chart with these results. Please, recalculate it." What is possible mistakes that I've done. This is the error massage and my fan curve; ![]() |

Can you check what the flow rate and pressure difference are manually for this fan?
Simply use the surface parameter on the inlet and outlet side of the fan depending on the fan type you used (internal, external inlet or external outlet). For the external ones, you have specified a pressure in the BC itself. That's the one on the outside of the model and the difference is then only used to the calculated inside pressure at the fan surface. Make sure you use the right pressure for the surface parameter when calculating the difference. Was there any other error message during the solver run in the solver monitor area for the errors? For example, if the BC of the fan was for some reason invalid, it might not have any values of the fan curve, hence the error. Boris |
