Increase in fluid mass during rotation

Hello everybody!

I am trying to solve a task of mixing molten aluminum in a container. The problem uses free surface, sliding, and gravity. I stumbled upon a problem: over time, the mass of aluminum in the container increases and its level also rises. I can't understand why this happens. Maybe I set something wrong when I was setting the task? Has anyone come across this?

Hi CFDnewbee,

Do you use any molten aluminum inlet in your project? Can you send a screenshot of your project tree?

Regards,
Evren

Hi evrenykn,

The problem was in the incorrect setting of the rotating area. Its boundaries intersected with a rotating object and an error was formed.

Thank you!
