andrecoutinho is on a distinguished road
Hello guys,

I'm trying to work on what-if scenarios, but I wasn't able to use a dimension as a parameter for simulation. I have tried to set a dimension and use it as a variable but I've not succeed. There is some way to do it?

I'm using Floefd 2021.1 and solid edge 2021.

I would appreciate any help.

Boris_M will become famous soon enough
If your model is parametric, then you should be able to see the CAD parameters in the Parametric Study when clicking on the button "add variable" in the image below. This opens a list of parts with their parameters where you can pick the parameter you want. It helps to name the parameters to easier find them rather than not knowing which parameter is V342.
If you are still having issues, please contact your support team and they will be able to show you in a screen sharing session on how it is done.

Regards,
Boris
