I created a flow domain in CATIA (a volume in a part) and need to run FloEFD. However, FloEFD treats the CATIA volume as a solid by default. How should I set up the case to assign the volume as fluid?

Usually FloEFD works with solid body.
Eg: if you have a solid volume all you have to do is create lids for inlet and outlet. Then you can check for fluid domain using check geometry option. i found this tutorial on youtube Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlxF6U5HIdc |

Thank you for the reply.
I just want to simulate a fluid-only case because the solids significantly cost computation resource. The dilemma is my fluid domain was generated by many solids. My simulation involves heat transfer, but the solids bounding the fluid are not important for heat. I only need them in generating the fluid volume but do not need them in my thermal simulation. Do you have any suggestion? Quote:
