Default Floworks: simple model of combustion

Good day to all. I'm a Mech. eng. undergrad. student performing some research on determining the turbine inlet temperature on a gas turbine.

I've been playing around with floworks, my aim is, amongst other things, to account for the heat lost through heat transfer and the mixing of cooling air near the exit of the combustor. Would it be possible to simulate combustion by using the volume heat source option?

Thanks for the help. Cornell
