i have a problem with my thesis using FLUENT, the problem is i have to simulate a wind turbin in duct, the main problem what is the right boundary condition for this situation?
can i use pressure inlet for the inlet, and pressure outlet for the outlet, or mass flow inlet for the inlet and pressure outlet for the outlet.
What is the advantages and disadvantages if i use that combination or the other combinations?
i'm sorry, i've made a same thread, but in a wrong sub-forum, maybe this is the right room
Thank you FYI

I'm sorry, but you are wrong here either.

Your Forum will be:
-> ANSYS -> FLUENT

Concerning your problem:
You can use both combinations you named.
It depends on your knowlege about measurements and the real conditions.

You can do any combination of boundary conditions except for:
velocity - mass flow
velocity - velocity
mass flow - mass flow
(they are violating continuity equation [incompressible flows])
