Hi everybody
I've been attempting to simulate an underwater explosion using the adiabatic bubble model, following the approach described by Tony Hirt in FSI-89-TN22. However, I'm having a hard time setting the pressure in the initial explosion gas bubble (PREG) to a different value than the initial void pressure (PVOID). It seems like PVOID is overriding PREG somehow. I'm using v9.4.5 on a WinXP x64 machine. Any hints would be highly appreciated. |

Hey,
i am trying to simulate an underwater explosion. I want to see how the shockwave behaves with a surface. How did you generate your bubble model? Did you use Fluent? I am thinking about creating the bubble by generating a high energy source at a point in the domain. I would really appreciate any kind of help you can provide. thanks!! |
