For what it's worth, I just saw a presentation on tsunami modelling in FLOW-3D by Osamu Kiyomiya from Waseda University,Tokyo.

You'll want to use the GMO model to simulate the motion of the sea floor.

hi,
How i can prodouce tsunami wave in flow3d
i dont know, how we must use "shallow water" for tsunami wave

The GMO approach should still work with the shallow water model. Just be sure to keep all of the geometry in the lower cell and it should be fine. Alternatively, you could try using the wave boundary condition to create the waves.

When i use "shallow water",the flow3d want to be number cell mesh in z direction 2cell. my model in z direction have 300cell!
that Seems strange to me
what should i do?

The shallow water model uses depth-averaged equations and therefore only needs two cells in z. It expects all geometry and fluid to be in the lower cell; the upper cell is used to apply the boundary conditions at the free surface. If you define your problem in this way it should work.

Yes just like dmilano suggested you can make all your geometry (300 cells in z-direction) into bottom cell; use upper cell to apply boundary condition at the free surface.

just combine 300 cells into 1.

hi
when i use shallow water and run program.
The wave player normally can not be seen. ex:in 2D and X-Z plane, I see the color of the lower cell.
can we see shallow water the normal display?
