Hi All,

I am trying to learn Flow-3D. Could anyone please advise me how I can calculate the flow rate passing through a section of a channel or spillway.

Details of my problem are as follows:
I am trying to simulate flow over a spillway and finally I am interested to know how much flow rate is passing through the middle section of the flow spillway. Is there an easy option in Flow-3D to calculate the flow rate through a section?

Use a flux-surface baffle with porosity = 1 to measure the flow rate through a plane at any point inside the domain. You can also measure hydraulic head, hydraulic energy, and other quantities this way.
