simulate a grating
 

Hi.
I want simulate the flow across a grating in an open channel.
I created a stl geometry of the grating but I must use a very small mesh to be able to represent the solid volume.

In your opinion is possible to use the porous model to represent the grating?

Definitely - porous baffles and components work nicely for this.
