Hi there
I want to remodel the deposition of bidisperse sediment in flume with the Flow3D (version 10) sediment and scour model, which was modeled as a test case in Flow Science Technical Note TN-85. For Case D in this technical note ( which case has equal proportions of fine and coarse sediment), I don't know where I should define the proportion of sediments in the Flow 3D v.10.? Moreover, I want to know what value I should specify for suspended sediment concentration of fine and coarse sediment in initial condition, for example at mentioned case? Any body can help me? thank you. |

Hello You can define volume fractions of the various sediments in Packed Sediment Fraction which is located in Component properties. about your second question: In this case you need to create a fluid region and then you can define suspended sediment concentration for each species. |
