Sediment Particle Inception

Hello All,

I am preparing a sediment inception model in Flow-3d. So in a simple semi-circular canal, where sediment particles are placed at the bottom, water is allowed to drain through. My findings are that almost all the particles are washed out in the first 10-15sec unbelievable. I am sure the discharge plus other hydraulic parameters are low enough to induce such a movement.

So can someone shove me some clues on what possibly is happening?

Thank you in advance.
