Shrinkage of the Solidification

Hi, may I know how to analyze the shrinkage of the solidification process of cast iron? I could just see the shrinkage on 'simulate tab' volume graph, but I could not see on the display tab.

What should I do to see the shrinkage on display? or what settings must be made on 'Anaylze Tab'?

I am using Flow 3D 9.4.1.

Dear Ken

I use Flow-3D CAST and I haven't any problem like this yet, but if you simulate casting process we can contact with each other and transfer the information and problems.

Hi Mr Sharifabad,

I am using Flow 3D cast for my thesis. I am using it to símulate the casting process of low carbon steel.

I am currently analyzing the shrinkage of the solidification process. I am able to analyze from the graph on 'Simulate Tab'. But what I need is to have 3D display of the shrinkage for my presentation. I have tried a lot of times, but no idea on how to create a 3D display like that.

Hi Mr Sharifabad,

Or perhaps the percentage of shrinkage is small so it is inconspicous on display? Could it be?
