hi dears, Flow-3D can calculate depth of the scour ? if not, what method use for calculated it ?

How do we measure the scour depth in flow 3D?

FLOW-3D v9.4, 10.0, and 10.1 all include an output for "net change in sediment elevation". The output is + for increase in elevation (deposition) and - for decrease (erosion). It is calculated for every column of cells (every x,y coordinate), so gravity should point toward -z.

thanks dear,can I use " packed sediment height" for calculate height of sediment ?or i "shoud use net change..." ?

It depends on if you want to see the surface elevation of the bed, or if you want to see the change in elevation.
