Exporting for comparitive visualisation

While flowsight is making strides, I'd like to be able to visualise flow3d data in other packages as well such as Visit and Paraview so as to produce comparable outputs from multiple software packages (our company uses 4 different CFD codes, including Flow3D).

Our other modellers use Visit currently so I am looking for the steps I need to take to convert flsgrf files into a format that is readable by programs other than ensight/flowsight. If flowsight could save to ensight that would be ideal but it hasn't been allowed as yet.

Any ideas?

TecPlot and FieldView both publish readers for FLOW-3D. You'll need to contact them to get the necessary instructions. I don't know if that helps or not.

Thank you for the input, John. I have entered a suggestion into our ProdDev hopper. At present, FlowSight is only enabled to read FLOW-3D® results files, but we will see if we can be allowed to save to EnSight format, so users such as yourself can open multiple CFD results types and read/compare.
