Inlet conditions
Hi
I am simulating a 3D pipe model using k-epsilon turbulence model. Is it possible to define the turbulence at inlet with Turbulence intensity (5%) and Viscosity Ratio (50)(these are the values I have computed according to my conditions) or this combination is only possible for external flows?. I used this one and my solution converged but I am not sure about if this combination is adequate for this case. Is the combination turbulent intensity and hydraulic diameter the only one for internal flows? Thanks |
