Hi everyone
I modeled a flume with wave generator paddle which has the piston motion movement (sinusoidal). The problem is I can't find the force of generated waves acting on the paddle?
(I also tried an option named (FSI- fluid solid interaction) that supposed to find out forces, but when the moving object is "prescribed motion" selected it automatically turned off)

From my understanding, you want to know how much the paddle exert the pressure during generating the wave.

If this is true, all u need to do is go to:

Model setup > Meshing & geometry > Geometry window > Component properties> output > Tick the 'Presssure and Shear force Output'

This result for 'Presssure and Shear force Output' can only be view by using flowsight.

Hope this help.
