Hi, I’m currently carrying a dam breach study, where I have modelled the inundation in FLOW-3D and obtained inundation maps showing maximum flow depths. I need to get maximum flow velocities maps. In FLOW-3D we can obtain the inundation maps showing maximum flow depths, as these results can be obtained directly, however, maximum velocities cannot be obtained directly.
Please, I would appreciate if you can give me some support or information on this topic, to obtain results of maximum velocities for maps (similar to maximum flow depths). I would appreciate if you can give us some guidance for this.

FLOW-3D HYDRO includes (since v2022R1) an option to output the local maximum velocity. From what I understand this is what you are looking for. One thing to note is that the local maximum velocity is not associated with the maximum depth.
