Hi
Why does the flow not become uniform?
The flow height at the beginning of the channel is high. The flow reaches the equilibrium state. Figure attached

Xmin= specified velocity
Xmax= specified pressure
Ymin=wall
Ymax=wall
zmin=wall
zmax=symmetry
