I am trying to visualize the total force (pressure and shear) acting on a surface in Flow3D (v11.0.4). I enabled the Pressure and Shear Force Output option in the Component Properties > Output tab and specified the surface coordinates (X, Y, Z). However, after completing the simulation, I cannot locate the force results for the surface in the output.
As a workaround, I defined a baffle and calculated the force on it using Results > Probe, which worked. However, I want to use the first method (via Component Properties) directly. What steps am I missing? Details: Enabled: Pressure and Shear Force Output under Component Properties > Output. Assigned surface coordinates but see no force data post-simulation. Version: Flow3D 11.0.4. Could this be a version-specific limitation, or is there an additional setting required to extract surface forces? |
