Animation?
 
When i render, I only get ten "frames", regardless of how long the simulation is.

How can I get more time frames?

hi~ The default data output settings in FLOW-3D will generate Spatial Data at intervals of 0.1*Finish Time. Spatial Data is used to create various graphics including 2D contour plots and 3D surface plots. To create interesting animations of your simulation, data at more frequent intervals is necessary. Typically an output interval of 0.01*Finish Time, which will produce 100 data dumps is recommended. One option would be to set the Spatial Data output interval accordingly but this will generate a very large data file. A more suitable option is to specify Selected Data at the desired output interval.

1. Specifying Selected Data

a. Select the Model Setup, Output tab.

b. In the Selected Data field, select Fluid Fraction, Pressure, and Fluid velocities.

Throughout the simulation, these three flow quantities will be written out at intervals of 0.01 * the Finish Time. In this case, Selected Data will be written at t = 0.0, 0.01, 0.02, etc. MC

Thanks again, MC.

I actually read something similar to this in the help file. I've selected the data required, and entered 0.01 as the time interval.

However, when I process the simulation, I'm still left with only 10 frames in the display window.

Any thoughts?

So when you look at the results are you look at selected data or restart? MC
