modifying Prepin File from command line

I am new to flow3d and my job is to automate flow3d processes so that I can submit in batch mode.

I have few STL files and a prepin file as inputs. The task is to modify this prepin file without opening Flow3d tool and submit job for processing (we are using linux). For example the values I am changing in prepin file are "Finish Time", "Gravity", "Porous Properties" in geometry, & "X,Y & Z direction" in Mesh Cartesian, and few others.

The challenge is to change only these and keeping the rest unchanged. How do I do that from command line?

Any inputs greatly appreciated.

Thanks

for the input files, you can create them ahead of starting simulations, using any text editor.

then use the "runbatch" script included in FLOW3D to start the simulations one after the other. for more information on the "runbatch", please read chapter 2 in FLOW3D manual.
