What is GMRES subspace size?
Dear experts:
Can anyone tell me what is GMRES subspace size? |

I am going to throw my two cents in here. As far as I understand the GMRES method, it takes the residuals of the continuity equation at every node in the mesh and represents it in the subspace. This representation is then used to compute the solution for the next iteration. The larger the subspace, the more accurate is the representation and faster convergence, but more memory is used too. If the subspace is too small, then convergence may be poor. Michael |
