A problem regarding Limiters parameters in geometry components
 

Hi guys,

I'm a new guy to Flow-3D simulation. We are trying to setup an electrospray model in Flow3d. However, I encountered a problem with Limiters in building geometry. We've searched in the documents and didn't find the answer, so I bother you asking here.

It's about the inner radius and outer radius of cylinders(actually not only in cylinders, but also in cones, spheres, etc.) in Limiters section. I don't know what are these referring to? I saw in a lot of examples that both of them are set, and also in some other examples that only inner radius is set and outer radius is left blank. May I ask what are these parameters meaning? Where can I find necessary references on this topic(Limiters I mean)?

the limiter is basically define the XYZ lower and upper limit of the geometry. It may sound confuse to new user. Since the geometry function in Flow-3D is pretty limited and simple why not try to build the model in CAD software and then import it as STL format? Hope this help.

Thank you ck5285. Our model is not very complex, so the geometry function of Flow-3D is sufficient in our case.
