sinosiodal translation_GMO
 

Hi,
What exactly the amplitude refers to . when imposing a soinosoidal translation (say along x) on a GMO.
I tried an amplitude of 1 and then 2 . but the GMO does not oscillate up to that distance( the observed oscillating amplitude of the GMO ie the reference motion is much less than the specified amplitude):confused:.

sorry guyz.... it was my mistake. I took it as displacement's amplitude wherease it clearly states that the specified parameters are for the velocity.
so this one is sorted.
