Important Alloy properties

Hi,

I am modelling investment casting of medical devices. I need to add in the cobalt chrome alloy that is used to Flow3D fluids directory. There are many mechanical and thermal properties required but what are the most important ones to characterise the flow of the molten alloy? I've done a lot of research trying to find the ones listed in the basic & phase tabs but have only really got thermal exp., thermal cond., liquidous & solidous temps.,

Where would be a good place to find these properties?

Thanks for the help.

I'd say density, specific heat, thermal conductivity, viscosity, liquidus, solidus and the latent heat are the primary properties. Thermal expansion is also important but somewhat secondary to those.

You scour the web for these properties. Also ASM Metals Handbook may have some.
