Ask for help about how to add a thermal source using code
 

I want to simulate the fluid field during welding. But I did not know how to add a Gauss thermal source using visio studio and complier. Special thanks for your help.

You should first familiarize yourself with the Manual chapter dealing with customizing FLOW-3D to be able to add changes in VS, compile and run the modified code.

Secondly, you can add a Gaussian source in one of the provided source code routines. You can also login to the user site at http://users.flow3d.com where there are a few examples of customizations, including, I think, a heat source.
