I work with Flow-3D version (9.4.1) and use the sediment scour model. I simulate sedimentation tank with Flow-3D. after I simulated my model, in the analyze part of the software I see two type of result file: 1) packed or suspended concentration and 2) total packed or suspended sediment solid fraction that I don't know the definition and differences of these two result file?
also please tell me about the unit of the total packed or suspended sediment solid fraction?
Many thanks

There may be several sediment species, e.g., sand and gravel. Each is represented by sediment concentration (suspended and packed). The units are those of density - mass/volume. The total solid fraction, suspended or packed, represents the mass fraction of all sediment species in the water/sediment mixture. It is dimensionless.
