Volume of Flow Rate (VFR) boundary condition
Hello experts,
I'm trying to run a simulation with a volume flow rate boundary condition. I use a mesh block to contain a pipe. I know the experimental data of the VFR on one end of the pipe, but I'm not sure how to set the boundary condition of that. Is the liquid generated on the plane of the mesh block the same as the amount entering the pipe? For example, if the internal radius of the pipe is r, the dimension of the mesh block on the cross-section is a. the volume flow rate of experiment is Ve. Let's see the VFR boundary condition is X. Then which equation below is correct? X=Veor (pi*r^2) / (a^2) = X / Ve Thanks a lot!!! Yang |
