In flow-3D user site, I read a tip of choosing an Advection Method. it says:

IORDER=1 1st Order Momentum Advection
IORDER=2 2nd Order Centered
IORDER=3 2nd Order Upwind Monotonicity Preserving
IORDER=4 3rd Order Upwind Monotonicity Preserving

but in Flow-3D ver. 10.01, there is not "IORDER=4 3rd Order Upwind Monotonicity Preserving" at all. Even I change the value of iorder in prepin file, it doesn't appear when the prepin file is opened.

So I woul like to ask:

Is there really a "3rd Order Upwind Monotonicity Preserving" in the Flow-3D? and if, how to activate it? thanks!

The IORDER=4 3rd Order Upwind Monotonicity Preserving was removed because it had not been correctly implemented near solid and mesh boundaries, and it would have been counter-productive to make it right. If it can be shown to be useful it may be added back in.
