Hi everyone,
I want to make a simulation with fluid & solid particles, but i cannot select in phases tab the solid material i created, does anyone know the reason?
Do you have anything to suggest as multiphase including solid particles is concerned? Because in the fluent tutorial doesn't explain the reason for most of the options and it doesn't have an example with solid particles.

You need to enable Multiphase option, I think in Models. Then you will be able to select the phases.

I know how to enable multiphase and i have run 2 phase flows with 2 liquid materials.But what should I do if I want to use solid & fluid? I copy from the material menu the solid that I want, but this isn't available in the phase menu when i try to select for each phase...

You need to create the solid phase under fluid in the materials. Either change the properties of air and call it by some other name or create a new fluid material with the properties of solid (density). You will see it under phases now, make sure you check granular option and choose the right properties and models.
