I'm grateful I have a question, please answer
I'm working on discrete phase model. gas is Discrete phase and water is continuous phase. I'll solve the continuous phase firstly, gas is single phase, of course, to say model is two-dimensional flow in a curved channel. After that it'll be a discrete phase gas injection. All the other options for the definition of the turbulent energy.
but the answer change when h click track for search of track.

once question:How do I tell Fluent steady state for this model?
my Fluent software have not unstable or steady state option

I do not understand your question quite precisely, however, be assured that the default method of solving in FLUENT is steady state. You have to explicitly specify if you want transient solution, if you believe your flow is unsteady.

thank my friend.

i want steady flow
but the answer is unsteady, and when i click track, the answer for particles path is different , means answer change with click, why?

the process my work:

solve continue phase
solver:
segregate
steady
k-e model
implicit

disperse phase model
DRW method
create injection for disperse phase
click track

Probably the solution is not converged yet for continuous phase. Have you enabled "interaction" between the two phases? If you have, then you need to have converged solution after taking into account the interfacial interactions, ie, you have to run it furter until it is converged.

If you keep getting dancing residuals, then perhaps it's a transient case.

Hi my friend.
the solution for continuous phase is converged.
I solve equations for continuous phase first and solution is converged.
"interaction" between the two phases is enable in the discrete phase dialog box.
can you write for me stage of modeling discrete phase(water) and continuous phase(gas)?, maybe i understand my mistake

Have you done the tutorial? It covers the procedure. There is a lot of help in the documentation.
