I know that Fluent is capable of using both explicit and implicit schemes. I am using a two phase Euler-Euler method (not sure if this fact is important).
How do I enable one scheme or the other in Fluent? At the moment the solver seems to run without me having made any selection at all, so I assume some scheme is set by default. I am asking this because I want to select an appropriate time step and it is my understanding that the type of the solution method has an influence on the selection. |

Found it - when selecting the Eulerian multiphase model, there is a section volume fraction parameters/ select scheme/ implicit or explicit.
