hi, i am new to cfd.
i am trying to simulate a liquid jet in cross flow using fluent vof implicit model. i enabled implicit body force. made all the walls symmetry. used velocity inlets for liquid and air inlets and pressure outlets. i have tried many different settings but the solution is not converging specially the continuity. also how am i suppose to give value for the back flow volume fraction. i m having reversed flow how can i end it and get the solution to converge. the minimum value for my mesh quality is 0.3 and the maximum aspect ratio is 11.8. any ideas.? much obliged for your consideration.
