Relative permeability for two phase flow in porous media
Hi dear all
I am simulating a porous region where at first there is water in the porous zone and later a NAPL (Non aqueous phase liquid) enters and push out the water. I was wondering to konw how can I consider relative permeabilities values for each phase Kind regards |
I am also working on something similar.
I would like to compute relative permeability for each phase but I am not sure how to do this. For single phase flow, if I know porosity and particle diameter, I can use Blake-Kozeny equations. But for example let us suppose I have a multiphase flow composed by water and air, and I want to model fixed bed of sand. Then for the sand it is straightforward to compute inertial and viscous values for the porous model. But if I have to specify this values (or even just the permeability of a phase), how can I compute it for example for water? And where can this values be specified? |
