VOF and gravity effect

Hi every one

I ma using VOF for two phase flow, but when I enable gravity effect it has no effect at all. I was wondering if somebody could help me

For example consider a column filled with water, and another fluid is entering from the bottom of column, I expect that with enabling gravity I can see the hydrostatic pressure of water in the column, but it seems that the gravity has no effect on the pressure distribution at all.

Hi Ebrahim,

I suppose that you are defining the lightest phase density as Specified Operating Density at the same time you define the gravity. In case yo have a compressible flow you need to specify 0 as value for that field.
