My topic is liquid piston cylinder,in this water is used to compress the air.so it is a two phase flow. I have following doubts:-
1) Whether the cylinder contain one volume or two.
2) What boundary condition given to the cylinder.

so please help me ..

In gambit i use two volume and give top as air inlet and bottom as water inlet. In this case water is used to compress the air. From fig given you can see the interface of water and air.I need to check the pressure outlet. So where i put the outlet boundary condition. if any one knows please help me...

I am doing analysis of cylinder in gambit and fluent. In the cylinder initially air is present and then water is used to compress the air. how i define the boundary condition .
