Selection of Material

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on two-phase separation between natural gas and oil. Here, I would need some help on the types of materials to be selected for my CFD simulation. Currently, I am using:

Methane as natural gas & N-heptane liquid as the crude oil.

My concern is that the rate at which gas is liberated from the crude oil should be function of pressure and temperature, not just density. I would like to know if the selection of the above materials is appropriate for my CFD simulation as I see no interaction between the two components. Hence, liquid carryover or gas carry-under does not occur. :(
