Default DDPM or DEM Simulation for big diameter particle

Dear Friends,
I have particle size 2.5-3.0cm. I want to ask by which method we can do simulation for such a big particle. Also, i want to ask one fundamental question. My question is mesh deformation/ mesh dynamic is possible or not in ANSYS Fluent DDPM simulation [for multiphase flow: liquid/gas and solid particle]. I want to deform the mesh in ANSYS Fluent DDPM.

Ansys 17 has a new model to include large particles in discrete phase modelling.

Dear Friend thanks for giving this help information. From where i can get detail. In my case 2.5 cm plastic balls total 2000-2500 and water continuous phase. Is it possible in ANSYS 17. Also, how he will handle such a large particle, via deforming mesh?

For DDPM model, Keep in mind the limitation that mesh size should be larger than particle size.
See macroscopic particle model in ansys.

Madhusuden Agrawal, have used MPM in Fluent 6.3 with the help of UDF. Also, now it is available in ANSYS 17. Presently, I have ANSYS 14.5 due to that i need to use UDF. Can you guide me so that i can implement it in ANSYS 14.5.
