Lee mass transfer mechanism

Dear all

In my case . i want to use lee model for evaporation and condensation mass transfer but actually can not set the model.

what is evaporation and condensation frequency? default is 0.1, should i change this ? what is the range of it?

thanks for Guidance

Hi Faraz
I implemented lee mass transfer model in openFOAM cfd package.
you can choose for frequency of 0.1 to 1000!!! first you should found you're experimental test case and then test for set frequency
you can read my paper that used this mass transfer model.
"Numerical simulation of bubble behavior in subcooled flow boiling under velocity and temperature gradient"

Hi mecman,
I also implemented the Lee model, however I get only evaporation but I don't see the condensation (in simple Stefan problem). Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
Here is my case and udf:

what I do is also to use mixture model to simulate evaporation and condensation in a square channel, have you fixed you problem? we can do more communication.
thanks

Hi dxm2008
Unfortunately I did not solve my problem. For now I do not know how to fix it.

Hello gaza, were you able to successfully simulate condensation?
