hello everyone
i want to run a one-way coupling in DPM by fluent 6.3 , and i disable the "interaction with continuous phase iteration" item in DPM dialogue box but and set the injection parameters including type of injection ( group) and injection coordinates and start and stop time and . . .
but after starting iteration no particles inject to the domain and fluent only solves continuous phase domain .
why is that ? how should i enable injection when disabling "interaction with continuous phase" ( i mean one-way coupling) ?
i appreciate your help

To get particle information in one way coupling you can simply go to 'Reports->Discrete Phase->Sample' and select the source of the dpm and the surface you wanna track the results of the particles.

One way coupling uses the 'already solved' continuous phase information to solve for the particle trajectory (with the assumption that the particles do not affect the continuous phase).
