yelloww_w is on a distinguished road
Good day!

First of all here is our model:
It is a 3 storey structure with the top part being a tank enclosure for fluid domain.

I've separated the fluid domain and the tank by using the Boolean command.

Here is our general step by step model:
1. On transient structural, Force is applied on the structure through its beams (sinusoidal load)
2. On fluent, ive designated the Fluid structure interface and a pressure outlet
3. Ive used the VOF model
4. I designated the FSI as walls
5. I initialize the problem on the specific coordinates inside the tank

Now upon completion of system coupling, and connecting the solution of transient structural to the results of fluent

Ive noticed that the volume of fraction of the water does not exist.

Any ideas where I went wrong?

**My initial thoughts would be:
1. The tank has already moved from its reference coordinate and fluent failed to patch and initialize the fluid domain due to the displacement of the structure

Thanks!
