Hi everyone, I am simulating a hydraulic jump in the stilling basin. At the Beginning, flow starts from a rectangular channel. Fluent solved the problem but as you see in the pictures, there is a water surface reduction at the beginning...and I cannot find the reason . I will appreciate your help.
inlet boundary condition for water: velocity inlet
inlet boundary condition for air: Pressure inlet
outlet boundary condition for air: Pressure outlet
model: VOF, Implicit, transient
Thanks in advance.
