Velocity profile
 

Hi all, I have an inquiry as below:

I have specified the same velocity (100 m/s) at the inlet. But the high velocity (coloured in red) region in my case in lesser as compared to literature. Could I know why is ths happen?

There are a lot parameters that plays a role on the outcome of a simulation.
I suggest you to find the differences between your pre-traitment and the one of the litterature.

Respect to litterature do you use:
the same code?
the same mesh?
the same turbulence model?
the same convergence critieria?
the same fluid physical properties?
the same boundary conditions?
the same post-processing?

I can continue for years, but please check these questions if you want to arrive to a correct conclusions
